Old Forge Lakefront, 7pm. The
Floyd Community Band will kick off the evening with marches and all time favorite listening. The Fireworks will began at dusk. Sponsored by the Town of Webb business community.

July 5-7 BATON TWIRLING CLASSIC

July 11  FLOWER ARRANGING CONTEST & GARDEN TEA
Area garden clubs and the public will be invited to compete using live cut flowers and approved vintage containers.  Arrangements will be placed throughout the four floors of the White House Inn Bed and Breakfast on Main Street in Old Forge.  A limited number of tickets will be sold at $4 each to the Garden Tea that will include refreshments.  Ticket holders will vote on favorites; prizes will be awarded. July 19  HISTORICAL SLIDE SHOW & TALK
The Tuttles - Sharon Yager of Westmoreland, New York, will present a slide show and talk on O.C. (Orley) Tuttle, Adirondack Guide and businessman; Lottie Tuttle, 1st female Adirondack Guide, artist, businesswoman; and Edith Tuttle Morcey, daughter and valued past community member.On display will be a collection of Tuttle bugs, fishing spoons and lures, ephemera, etc. This program is brought to you by the Town of Webb Historical Association in partnership with the Old Forge Library using their comfortable, large community meeting room at 7pm.  Donations welcome. Dec. 7 - 9 31st ANNUAL SNODEO
Snodeo is the "kick-off" weekend for the 2007/2008 snowmobile season. On Friday morning, watch the exciting Snowmobile Manufacturer's Challenge in Woodgate, NY, and then Snodeo will be open 3pm-8pm. On Saturday, Snodeo will be open from 10am until 5pm. There will be seminars scheduled, and the 120cc races for our next generation of snowmobilers. Take a chance to win a new snowmobile of your choice from 7 models offered, along with cash prizes and many other giveaways. Top off the evening with our spectacular fireworks display. On Sunday, Snodeo will be opened from 10am until 2pm, with the snowmobile raffle drawing at 1pm. Dec. 8 THE BEST LITTLE HOLIDAY COOKIE IN THE ADIRONDACKS

March 8-9 SNOCROSS - All classes offered. Bonus purse, 120 Races for youths, pre-registration for racers is required. Held at McCauley Mountain, Old Forge. Gates open at 8:00am, racing begins at 9:00am. $15 per person per day, Weekend pass $25 per person. Children 10 and under free. Free parking. Sanctioned by Rock Maple Racing, presented by McCauley Mountain Ski Area, and sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association.

MARCH 15-16 SNOFEST - Snowmobile manufacturers will visit the North Street Recreation Center once again this snowmobile season. Having kicked off with Old Forge's annual Snodeo event, they will put finishing touches on the season at SnoFest 2008 on March 15th and 16th. The major manufacturers will be on hand to give enthusiasts a glimpse of the new 2009 sled line and allow for demo rides, weather permitting. This will be one of the first stops on the East coast for the new machines, and the event draws thousands. Sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association.

May 24 & 25 11th ANNUAL ADIRONDACK POLKA FESTIVAL Held at the Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street in Old Forge. Featuring the Nation's Top Polka Bands, Polish and American Food and beverages. The bands this year are "The Knewz", "The Eddie Forman Orchestra", "Lenny Gomulka and Chicago Push" and "The Polka Family Band". A Polka Mass at noon on Sunday features "The Polka Family Band". June 13  FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND CLASSIC CAR SHOW PARADE - Main Street, Old Forge. 7pm. 

June 14  11th ANNUAL FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND CAR SHOW- Cash prizes to town best of show winners (antique/classic and modified street rod), dash plaques to first 100 entrants. First, second and third place trophies in 20 classes.  Car Show Saturday 9am-4pm, North Street Recreation Center. Judging starts at noon. Also auto-related vendors and swap meet, food and beverages available. In case of rain, show cars parked inside pavilion on first come basis. Car registration fee $8 advance received before June 1, $10 gate. Auto vendors and swappers registration $10. Spectators $2, children under 12 free. Sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association and Lee Pontiac-Buick-GMC Truck of Boonville.   

June 15  ANNUAL FATHER'S DAY FROG JUMP - Children can bring their champion frog to win prizes and fathers should wear their most outrageous tie! Largest, smallest, and longest jumper. Great family fun! Don't worry, all frogs are released unharmed
